Electro-osmotic Damp Proofing

A chemical-free system ideal for heritage buildings or properties with thick walls. This method uses low-voltage electrical currents to reverse the flow of moisture in porous masonry.

Platinum-coated wire anodes are inserted into walls and linked in a ring main configuration.
A low-voltage power supply creates a gentle electric field.
Moisture is drawn downwards toward the earth rod (cathode), stopping rising damp at the source.
Particularly suited to walls where traditional chemical methods are unsuitable.

Note: After installation, salts in the wall may lead to surface efflorescence or damp patches. Replastering with a suitable salt-resistant mix is essential, ideally after a minimum 14-day drying period.
